Review Policy

Last Updated: 24 June 2026

Bangladesh Health Alliance, also known as BHA, is committed to helping patients make informed healthcare decisions through honest, useful, and respectful reviews.

This Review Policy explains how reviews are collected, checked, moderated, published, updated, and removed on Bangladesh Health Alliance.

Our goal is simple: to make patient feedback helpful, fair, transparent, and trustworthy.

Why Reviews Matter

Patient reviews can help others understand:

  • doctor communication style;
  • chamber or clinic experience;
  • appointment process;
  • waiting time;
  • staff behavior;
  • consultation experience;
  • general service quality.

However, healthcare reviews must be handled carefully. Reviews should never replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Types of Reviews on BHA

Bangladesh Health Alliance may show different types of review labels.

1. Verified Visit Review

A Verified Visit Review means BHA has reasonable confirmation that the reviewer booked, contacted, or visited the doctor, hospital, clinic, or healthcare provider through BHA-supported channels or submitted enough information for verification.

This may include:

  • appointment request through BHA;
  • call or WhatsApp support record;
  • booking confirmation;
  • chamber visit confirmation;
  • clinic or provider confirmation.

Only verified visit reviews should be used for stronger trust signals and public rating calculations when the full verified review system is active.

2. General Patient Feedback

A General Patient Feedback review is submitted by a user but may not be fully verified as a confirmed appointment or visit.

These reviews may still be useful, but BHA may treat them differently from verified visit reviews.

General feedback may not always affect public rating scores.

3. Provider Response

Doctors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers may be allowed to respond to reviews.

Provider responses must be professional, respectful, and must not reveal private patient information.

Who Can Submit a Review?

You may submit a review if you have had a genuine experience with a listed doctor, hospital, clinic, diagnostic center, ambulance provider, or healthcare service.

You should submit a review only if:

  • your review is based on your own experience;
  • your information is truthful;
  • your feedback is respectful;
  • your review does not include false claims;
  • your review does not include another person’s private medical information.

Family members or caregivers may submit a review if they were directly involved in the patient’s appointment or care process.

What Makes a Helpful Review?

A helpful review is specific, fair, and respectful.

You may write about:

  • appointment booking experience;
  • waiting time;
  • doctor communication;
  • chamber environment;
  • staff behavior;
  • clarity of explanation;
  • consultation process;
  • follow-up experience;
  • general satisfaction.

Example of a helpful review:

“The appointment process was clear, the staff helped us with the serial, and the doctor explained the treatment plan patiently.”

What Reviews Are Not Allowed?

BHA may reject, edit for privacy, or remove reviews that include:

  • fake or misleading information;
  • abusive, hateful, threatening, or discriminatory language;
  • personal attacks;
  • political or religious attacks;
  • spam or promotional content;
  • copied reviews;
  • irrelevant content;
  • competitor manipulation;
  • paid or incentivized fake reviews;
  • false medical claims;
  • private phone numbers, addresses, prescription photos, reports, or medical records;
  • allegations that cannot be reasonably reviewed;
  • content that violates patient privacy;
  • content that may create legal, safety, or ethical concerns.

BHA may also remove reviews that appear to be submitted by bots, fake accounts, competitors, or users with a conflict of interest.

Medical Privacy and Sensitive Information

Please do not post sensitive personal medical details in reviews.

Do not include:

  • full medical reports;
  • prescription images;
  • test result images;
  • national ID/passport information;
  • private phone numbers;
  • private addresses;
  • details of another patient without permission.

If a review contains sensitive information, BHA may remove or edit that information before publishing.

How BHA Moderates Reviews

BHA may review submitted feedback before it is published.

Our moderation process may include:

  1. checking whether the review appears relevant;
  2. checking for spam, abuse, or fake content;
  3. checking whether the reviewer claims a real patient experience;
  4. checking for private or sensitive information;
  5. checking whether the review violates this policy;
  6. approving, rejecting, editing for privacy, or requesting more information.

BHA does not guarantee that every submitted review will be published.

Does BHA Edit Reviews?

BHA does not edit reviews to change the meaning of a patient’s feedback.

However, BHA may edit or remove parts of a review to:

  • fix formatting issues;
  • remove private information;
  • remove abusive language;
  • remove irrelevant content;
  • protect patient privacy;
  • comply with this policy.

If major changes are needed, BHA may choose not to publish the review.

How Ratings Are Calculated

BHA may display ratings for doctors, hospitals, clinics, or healthcare services.

When the verified review system is active, BHA may give more weight to Verified Visit Reviews than general unverified feedback.

BHA may exclude the following from rating calculations:

  • fake reviews;
  • spam reviews;
  • duplicate reviews;
  • reviews from competitors;
  • reviews submitted in exchange for payment or incentives;
  • reviews that violate this policy;
  • reviews that cannot be reasonably verified.

BHA may avoid showing rating schema or aggregate rating data on search engines unless reviews are genuine, moderated, and compliant.

Provider Reply Policy

Doctors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers may reply to patient reviews.

Provider replies should:

  • remain respectful;
  • avoid arguments;
  • avoid sharing patient medical details;
  • avoid blaming the patient;
  • offer a practical next step if needed;
  • invite the patient to contact the chamber or support team privately.

Provider replies must not include confidential patient information.

BHA may remove provider replies that violate this policy.

Reporting a Review

If you believe a review is fake, abusive, misleading, outdated, or violates this policy, you may request a review check.

Please provide:

  • review URL;
  • doctor or provider name;
  • reason for reporting;
  • supporting information if available.

BHA will review the report and may keep, edit, hide, or remove the review.

Review Removal Requests

BHA may remove a review if:

  • it is fake or misleading;
  • it contains private medical information;
  • it includes abusive or harmful language;
  • it is unrelated to the provider;
  • it is promotional or spam;
  • it was posted by a competitor;
  • it violates patient privacy;
  • it violates this Review Policy.

BHA does not remove a review only because it is negative. Honest negative feedback may remain published if it follows this policy.

Disputes Between Patients and Providers

BHA is not a court, medical board, or legal authority.

If a review involves a serious medical, legal, billing, or professional dispute, BHA may:

  • request more information;
  • temporarily hide the review;
  • ask both sides for clarification;
  • recommend direct communication;
  • refer the matter to the relevant authority where appropriate.

BHA does not provide legal judgment or medical negligence decisions through reviews.

Fake Review and Manipulation Policy

BHA does not allow fake review manipulation.

The following are not allowed:

  • providers reviewing themselves;
  • staff or family members posting fake patient reviews;
  • competitors posting negative fake reviews;
  • agencies posting paid reviews;
  • offering money or gifts for positive reviews;
  • threatening users to remove reviews;
  • submitting multiple reviews under different names.

If BHA detects manipulation, it may remove reviews, restrict review access, or mark the provider profile for manual review.

Review Verification Limitations

BHA works to improve review trust, but verification may not always be perfect.

A review label such as “Verified Visit” means BHA found reasonable verification signals. It does not mean BHA guarantees the medical outcome, provider quality, or accuracy of every statement in the review.

Patients should always use their own judgment and confirm doctor information before visiting.

Important Medical Disclaimer

Reviews are personal experiences. They are not medical advice.

A good or bad review does not guarantee that you will have the same experience.

For medical emergencies, call your local emergency number or visit the nearest hospital emergency department immediately.

For diagnosis, treatment, medicine, surgery, or urgent health decisions, always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
